There Is No Debate
There is no debate. In fact there hasn't been a debate for nearly 100 years. The debate I'm talking about is the creation/evolution debate. I heard the phrase so many times when I was a christian, people would refer to the creation/evolution debate as if it was something real and continual. This is not the case, the debate has been over for a long time, and if you don't 'believe' in evolution you're either naive or in denial.

A debate is a discussion about a subject on which people have different views.

The only people that are disputing the well established theory of evolution are people with a religious agenda to push. There is no debate within the scientific community, and there hasn't been for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteWell then Mr anonymous... would you say there is a real debate about whether the planet is round or flat?
ReplyDeleteThere are those who allegedly still believe it is flat. So yeah... there is still debate!
Oh right... it makes no difference because the body of evidence supporting the world being round is phenomenal, and there is zero evidence for it being flat. So not really a debate since the evidence is plainly obvious.
Same thing with evolution vs intelligent design. Masses of evidence vs zero evidence. Hence there is no real debate.
